Recipe – Campers Succulent Barbequed Lamb Recipe With Pitta Bread And Fresh Mint Salad

You are on your camping holiday. You cook on a barbecue. Let’s say you put on burgers. Now, do you ever think to yourself, what are the ingredients that make up these burgers?

We have all seen on packages of hamburger list of E numbers and preservatives. Also have you ever wondered what age and how good is the quality of the meat
What better way to know the quality of the meat to fresh hamburgers yourself. This way you know they are made from fresh meat. Of course, there will be no artificial colors or preservatives. They will be packed with all the protein and vitamins than fresh meat supply.

Here’s a quick and simple recipe for lamb patties (small burgers) using fresh lean ground lamb. This is accompanied by a fresh salad and tasty mint in a wonderful wholemeal pitta pocket

Ingredients :. 4 people

1 kg minced lamb lean finely chopped fresh

60g fresh parsley 1 medium onion, finely chopped
25g fresh mint finely
1 clove crushed garlic

1 egg salt and pepper

4 small ripe tomatoes
together 20g mint leaves fresh
1 small red onion, thinly sliced ??
1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice soup

Place lamb, parsley, mint, onion, garlic and egg in a large bowl. Knead all ingredients while adding the salt and pepper for seasoning. The use of the egg is to bind the ingredients together while adding additional proteins and vitamins for the meal.

With the mixture into eight small patties and leave until you made the salad with mint. To make the salad Mint first cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Place them in a bowl with the onion, red slices, whole mint leaves, olive oil and lemon juice.

With a spatula or large spoon gently turn over salad. Add salt and pepper to taste together. Stop when the salad is evenly coated with olive oil and lemon and juice.

Once the salad is prepared brush on the pancakes a little olive oil on both sides to prevent sticking to the hot barbecue grill. Place patties on grill and cook each side for about 3-4 minutes. Make sure there is a nice brown crust on the bottom before turning. Otherwise, it may fall apart.

Put the whole wheat breads Pitta on the barbecue for a few seconds only both sides brown. Use wholemeal Pittas gave the meal high in extra fiber that using ordinary white pitas.

Once browned remove pita and cut them in half. Open them and place them inside a small salad. Add lamb pattie and a little salad.
